Professional Development Opportunities for Family Childcare Providers

In addition to raises and bonuses that you have received as a Care-4-Kids Provider, the links below will connect you to free professional development workshops and credit-bearing college classes.
 

First, go to https://www.ccacregistry.org/ and create an account for yourself.  You will be assigned an OEC Registry #. SAVE IT!  Email the Registry your Care-4-Kids Provider ID and your 9 digit OEC Registry #.  Ask for your CCEI username and password. This will open the door to workshops offered on-line at the Child Care Education Institute. http://cceionline.edu/

Many of these workshops will count toward your 18 hours per year of continuing education, which you can do from the comfort of your home.

Why a CDA?

The Child Development Associate (CDA) is a nationally recognized credential.  Yes, it is a big commitment but one that one that creates confident providers with command of today’s best practices for teaching young children.
